Joyce Fischbacher | Director of Children’s Ministries | firstname.lastname@example.org
Joyce was born and raised in Michigan City, IN and grew up in this church. Her parents, George and Marvella Baines, were among a group of people who started this congregation on the west side of town in 1956. Being a part of what is now Michigan City Christian Church has been a blessing beyond measure and a tremendous influence in her life.
She graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 1976 with a degree in Christian Education. After graduating, she taught preschool and kindergarten at a school in her hometown. In June of 1995, she began serving as Director of Children’s Ministries at Michigan City Christian Church.
Joyce and her husband, Dave, have two children and five grandchildren. She enjoys spending time with family, walks on the lakefront, attending South Bend Cubs baseball games, baking, and photography (especially taking pictures of our church youth at Camp LRCA in the summer months).
Val Pudlo | Worship Leader | email@example.com
Val Pudlo has been a member of this local body of believers since 1969 and it is right here that she developed her love of music and, in particular, the Lord’s music. With fond memories of the Cherubic Choir, Jr. Choir and Senior Choir, where her musical abilities were encouraged and developed by those that came before, Val hopes to encourage the future generations to praise and worship through God’s gift of music!
As worship leader she feels the most important part of worship is found in Romans 12:1:
. . . offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God, this is your spiritual act of worship.
Val and her husband Van have been married for 24 years and their family includes 3 grown children and their spouses, 8 grandchildren, and Lucy (the dog) and Desi (the cat). Val also works professionaly as a Realtor with Merrion and Associates in Michigan City.
Val plays guitar and keyboard, as does her husband Van, as well as plans the worship service for Sunday mornings and special events. Val also writes skits and readings to be used in the worship service. If you have an interest in any of these areas or would like to sing or play a musical instrument with the praise teams please let Val know by e-mailing her.
Joyce Verzal | Secretary | firstname.lastname@example.org
Joyce manages the church office day to day by answering the phones and e-mails, as well as printing all materials needed. She makes herself available for all church business needs.
Joyce is a proud mother of 3, very proud grandmother of 6 (plus one granddaughter in law), and a joyful great grandma of 2 with #3 on its way. Everyone that knows her, knows that she is a huge ELVIS fan and you will probably hear him singing some gospel music if you come in to visit the office. Joyce loves being the secretary of MCCC and sees it as service to her Lord.
